Squier guitars are made for Fender in China. They are in general of lower quality, with inferior wood, electronics, finish, and fit quality.

I know he didn’t customise it but he said he bought it for a few hundred quid about 4 years ago from Manchester
But I can’t find any pics online of a yellow and black squier telecaster which HASN’T been customised…

does anyone know the specific brand/type of pickups that were installed at the factory? (the stock pickups)
Contact the company and ask them, besides its not like you can’t change the pickups, stock-pickups are rarely good.
