The Stiletto is an amazing neck-thru bass with a fantastic quilted Maple top, Mahogany body, and gold hardware. More than just a pretty face, it’s got the tone to back up that pro look. Schecter loads the Stiletto Elite with EMG Hz pickups and active EQ. With active EQ, you have way more tone control and can more accurately create your tone. The 4-string Stiletto bass also features a 34 in.-scale Maple neck, a Rosewood fingerboard, and jumbo frets.

What would be an upgrade to my Squier Bullet Strat?

I currently have a Squier Bullet Strat and i need to upgrade.it sound like crap through my line 6 spider 3 and its always out of tune. my budget is $200 what do ya think? i was looking at the Dean Vendetta XM, Ibanez GRX20, Dean ML XM, Epi Les Paul Special 2, Epi SG Standard, Pac012DLX, Affinity Series Telecaster. Which would you suggest for heavier sounds, i mainly use a boss ds-1 and like to play grunge and metal. thanks.

telecaster..way off

my advice and i hope you do is save another 2 hundred and get either a Standard Strat with the humbucker in the bridge…look up fender hss strat

ibanez is good for metal too

whats better a les paul custom/standard or a fender 72 telecaster?

help? les paul is around £350 – £360 and the telecaster is £550

I don’t know what that means in dollars. But it really doesn’t matter. A Les Paul is a Les Paul, and a Tele is a Tele. Two very different kinds of guitars with two very distinct sounds. Both of them are tremendous guitars. If you are going to be playing flat out hard rock and roll, I’d go with the Les Paul. Think of the Les Paul as sort of a Led Zepp sound. The Tele is most famous for it’s "twangy" sound that you hear in most famous Country, Swing, Rock-a-Billy and similar styles, but it does have the famous Fender Strat sound to a large extent. This is the sound made famous by Hendrix and Clapton…stuff more rooted in blues and early rock than later rock and roll.

If you can afford it get ‘em both. If the Les Paul is new, get the Tele. A 72 Tele will gain in value for one. I like the Tele sound better for myself. Best thing to do is play them both and get the one you like better. YOu can’t really make a mistake with either of them if you like them.

Does anyone know where to get a cheap, but nice Fender Squier bullet strat hard case?

My uncle actually sent me a guitar, and now I need a case…

go to the hundreds of music stores around our house

which Fender guitar product is a better / higher model: Telecaster or Stratocaster????

which Fender guitar product is a better / higher model: Telecaster or Stratocaster????

we’re planning to switch the Squier Bullet Strat guitar to a better Fender guitar model, and i think
Telecaster and Stratocaster are the 2 options to be the best guitar models among the rest of Fender guitars…
But i wanna know which is better among the 2…so that we’ll check out it as an exchange to the Fender Squier:D

Anybody out there knows which one????
kindly send your responses or give the URL links which prove the best thing heh! heh! Thanks! ;-)

btw , advance happy holidays everyone! :D

It all depends on the model you buy. The Strats and Tele lines both range from $350 to $2500, and you get what you pay for. The more expensive, in both lines, have Roland synth pickups that let you pick different timbres and tunings with a turn of a knob. I might add that they both have nearly identical pickups and hardware (once again, depending on the model).

I would recommend getting a Tele for one simple reason: the most popular guitar in the world is a Strat=>why go with the crowd? Be original.

Because they are nearly identical, I recommend going to your local guitar center and playing them yourself. It is a manor of opinion in this case, and no one can really tell you which is better. Play different models of each to find the tone that you like the best. Keep in mind that the more expensive models in each line have different tone and features, so pay attention to the timbre and feel of each individual guitar.

By the way, play some guitars other than a Strat or a Tele. You might find a make and model you like more. Try Gibson, Ibanez (my personal favorite), Epiphone, BC Rich, or ESP. Try an Explorer, Flying V, ES 335, ES 135, or a Les Paul.

I love Fender myself, but there are other brands with other guitars that might fit your sound, playing, and feel.

I sure hope this helps,
Charlie
