Just got this guitar and was amazed by the quality for $180. I would recommend this guitar for any entry level guitarist. I got it just for practice but I think I might try recording with it. I’m playing it through a Roland Cube practice amp.

To update my experience with this guitar after 4 months of use, the only problem I’ve had is the plastic jack input, which has cracked and now hangs part-way out of the guitar. but everything still works fine.

I have to say that, of all the guitars I have gone through in the past year, this Squier Tele is one that I always keep coming back to. Awesome looks, playability & “pick up and play me” appeal. It is also an absolute STEAL at $179.99. The electronics aren’t bad either, though I’m probably going to upgrade the switch, pickups & pots at some point. Great playing, by the way!!!

I’ve been playing for about a year and consider myself a mediocre hack. I own 5 guitars and three weeks ago got myself one of “these cheap telecasters” let me tell you, im having more fun playing and sounding better than anything I have ever played.
Is it a vintage tele? No. But for $180 its one of the best easiest playing guitars a newbie could get.

Yeah its a 15, it sounds alright clean but nothing to brag about. It has 4 distortion types but only the first sounds halfway decent, which is the one I’m using. I wouldn’t recommend it even for a practice amp.
